El Bierzo

Our great-grandfather Benito started more than a hundred years ago, the long tradition of winegrowing and winemaking that today we proudly maintain with passion, effort and dedication. Combining a job well done from the land to the winery, we have managed to produce quality wines, always under the Bierzo Designation of Origin.

Times change, and although our Benito would not have imagined offering wine tourism experiences in his time, the next generation is eager for you to come and visit Encima Wines. Where, from our modern and accessible facilities, we will share with you our history, our wines and our terroir. So that you can enjoy 100% of what we believe is the traditional essence of Bierzo, its viticulture.

By taking a tour through the didactic vineyard, the winemaking area, the cellar, the barrel rooms, the warehouse, the tasting room... we hope you will enjoy El Bierzo to the full.

Come and meet us! We are in Molinaseca, in the middle of the Camino de Santiago.

What does this experience include?:

Guided tour of all the winery's facilities (Didactic vineyard, Barrel room, Vat room and Tasting room)
Wine tasting of 3 different wines
The tasting will always be accompanied by a pincho, with traditional products from the Bierzo region (chorizo, cheese, salchicón, etc.). So that the pairing is completely local.
Visit to our didactic vineyard; planted with all the varieties that our denomination of origin includes, so that the visitor becomes an expert in El Bierzo.
